Terms
The terms, in plain sight.
The proposed launch terms for StoreRounds, shown before checkout exists so you can inspect the intended deal. They are not an active offer or contract.
Last updated 2026-07-15 · storerounds.com/terms
A licensed attorney is reviewing the formal Master Services Agreement and Terms of Service that would stand behind a paid launch. StoreRounds does not currently offer checkout, a paid plan, a free trial, a money-back guarantee, or the $499 Diagnostic. Nothing is click-wrapped and no payment is accepted against these proposed terms. If the launch deal changes before sales open, this page will change first, in plain sight.

The intended launch deal
- Proposed flat tiers, per chain, not per store: Morning $299/month (2-5 stores), Operator $799/month (6-15 stores), HQ $1,799/month (16-50 stores). The intended policy is $0 to add a store within its band without a new contract.
- Proposed 14-day free trial: no payment card, once production access and checkout open.
- Proposed annual prepay: pay for ten months, get twelve, locked for that term.
- Proposed $499 Diagnostic: a one-time deliverable that would be credited against a first subscription invoice under the final launch terms. It is not available to buy today.
- Proposed Founding 20: accepted chains would lock the tier price they join at while continuously subscribed. Applying to the pilot does not claim a place or create a subscription.
Intended renewal and cancellation policy
- If paid subscriptions open, monthly or annual renewal would be stated clearly at checkout and require affirmative consent.
- The launch goal is online cancellation in one click from the account dashboard. That self-serve control is not live today.
- The intended policy includes a reminder before each annual renewal.
- Under the proposed terms, cancellation would stop the next renewal and refunds would follow the policy below.
The proposed 60-day money-back guarantee
- No guarantee is active because StoreRounds is not accepting paid charges. At launch, the intended policy is a full refund of initial-term fees when requested within 60 days of the first paid charge.
- Before accepting a charge under that promise, StoreRounds intends to maintain a segregated reserve so a refund is payable in cash, not an IOU.
- The proposed post-window policy is no refund for the current monthly period and no annual-prepay refund except where law requires otherwise, with cancellation available to stop renewal. Final counsel-reviewed language would be disclosed before purchase.
What the outputs are, and are not
The prototype produces briefs, reconciliations, flags, and figures from test-store data. Any future pilot output would remain an informational tool to assist your own judgment, not professional advice. StoreRounds is not an accountant, auditor, bookkeeper, tax advisor, financial advisor, or investigator.
- You verify figures before relying on them, and you own every employment, financial, and operational decision.
- Outputs can be incomplete or wrong: after a POS schema change, a missed pull, or an OCR misread of a photographed slip.
- A figure marked provisional (for example, a deposit reconciled only to a slip photo and not to a cleared bank settlement) is not verified, and should never be treated as final.
Autonomous actions: Standing Orders
Where the product acts on its own, it acts only inside rules you configured, and every act leaves a receipt.
- Each autonomous action is bounded by the dollar cap and scope you set.
- Above the human-confirmation threshold, the service pauses and asks you before acting.
- Every action is recorded with a receipt you can review, and is reversible through undo for the stated window.
- The service will not, without a further human confirmation, take an irreversible action or move funds. Ever.
Evidence, never accusation
Guardian flags and exception cards are anomalies in the data to investigate. They are never accusations or findings of fact about any person. You, not StoreRounds, make and own every employment and disciplinary decision, and we provide a deployable monitoring-notice kit so your staff hear, in plain words, that a flag is a question about the data, not a verdict about a person.
Your data
- You own your data. During any approved founding pilot, export and deletion requests would be handled through [email protected] with written confirmation of scope and completion. Full self-serve export and deletion controls are not live today.
- You grant us only the limited license needed to run the service and to build your own Chain Memory, walled to your account.
- Never sold, and never given to data brokers, advertisers, or your competitors.
- No cross-chain StoreRounds Index is active. If one is built, the proposed rule is explicit, separate, revocable owner consent, off by default. Withdrawing consent would stop future inclusion, though it could not un-compute a benchmark already published; that limit would be stated plainly before consent.
Honest limits
The service is provided as-is, and we do not warrant that any output or figure is accurate or complete; the verification loop (read-back receipts) exists precisely because software can be wrong. Liability under the final agreement will be capped, with the cap and its carve-outs set in the counsel-reviewed document, and backed by insurance before the first charge. We publish the number when counsel does, not before.
Changes
We will give notice of material changes to these terms. And we keep the rule the whole company runs on: no product change ships that would make a live public promise untrue until the promise and the paper are updated first. This page changes first.
